Set among steep mountains, the impeccable fairways of Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club merge with the spectacular surrounding scenery, affording the golfers exceptional views over the Mediterranean. Opened in 1991, Los Arqueros is a challenging par-71, 18-hole course designed by the Spanish Severiano Ballesteros. Considered one of the best players in the world, Seve has used his know-how and prestige to create some 30 golf courses all over the world.
You don't have to leave the grounds to enjoy your stay. Go for a drink in the clubhouse, which also serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
Cool down in one of the four La Torre swimming pools and enjoy the 300 days of Andalusian sunshine. Feel like more action, then drive down to the beach.
20 to 45 minutes away from Estepona, Ronda, Gibraltar, Cabo Pino, Mijas, Malaga
Explore some Andalusian white villages: Casares, Gaucin, Genalguacil, Juzcar, Istan, Ojen

A few of our favourite things to do:
The beach walk to Marbella is highly recommended, should you feel like taking a long walk. Park your car in San Pedro playa and walk towards Puerto Banus. Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Then walk towards Marbella along The Golden Mile, which is actually 4.8 miles. Treat yourself to a nice lunch at Trocadero Playa. Or have a few drinks and take a dip in the ocean.
From there you can continue the Paseo Maritimo towards Marbella. You don't have to walk all the way back, go inland to the main road and catch a bus or taxi back to San Pedro.
If you feel like exploring Marbella in a different and fun way, check out Go2Move and learn how to ride a Segway on the Paseo Maritimo. Go to Yep.bike for bike rentals in San Pedro de Alcantara at a fair price.
In 2014, the council of Benahavis inaugurated the Sendero Acequia de las Angosturas, a wonderful walking trail. You'll pass it as you drive towards Benahavis from the Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club. You can even follow the ruta acuatica of the Rio Guadalmina
Estepona is about a twenty-minute drive from San Pedro de Alcantara. The promenade is rather nice, but especially the port is worth a visit. There are many shops, shaded little squares and small streets to wander around in. Casa Doña Jeronima comes highly recommended. Enjoy their three-course gourmet lunch at a very good price.
The new coastal boardwalk connecting La Cala de Mijas with Calahonda is now open. While you're in the area, discover Cabo Pino's little port and the beautiful Dunas de Artola. The new boardwalk around the dunes allows you to fully appreciate the views in eco-friendly fashion.
Holidaymakers who wish to visit Malaga - but don't feel like driving into the city centre - are advised to park their car at the Plaza Mayor shopping center and take the train from there. It is not very expensive and it avoids any stress of driving on the busy streets of Malaga. A roundtrip ticket costs around 4 euro per person. You shouldn't leave town without visiting El Pimpi.
The nearby town of Benahavis (6km) offers a wide selection of restaurants and tapa bars. A wining and dining option is Los Abanicos. Go to Lili's, if you're in the mood for tapas and a ribera or cerveza. In Marbella we'd recommend tapas bar El Estrecho.
If you don't feel like going out for dinner, you can use the fully equipped kitchen. You can buy all supplies In the local shops and supermarkets of the nearby village San Pedro de Alcantara (5km). There is a smaller centro commercial just around the corner in Monte Halcones on the Rondaroad.
The covered terrace of the apartment is the ideal place to savour your home-cooked meal, while watching the golfers do their thing.
